Thread: Independent repair shop in westchester NY

Since the dealer is overestimating service repairs can someone recommend a reliable shop in the above area?

I need to have a cv boot replaced.

Do you just need to swap the axle? How much could they possibly be asking?

I just need the outer boot replaced but they want to do the entire axle for $550 !

Holy that is alot of money.
Im not in ny but if you were local i could hook you up for alot less then that.

most times replacing just the boot is the way to go on cv axles.

I would buy an autozone axle for 80$ and spend 40$ to get it installed. If you were closer I would help you out.
