By the way, the #11 SE-R you see in the 2005 A.M.E.C. "Get Sideways" ad above [in the first post of this thread] is the same car I own today. That's when it only had 150-k on it. I bought it from my friend in 2006 and then sold it. I bought it back again in 2010 and today it has over 250-k on it. The story and rebuild of the car is HERE.

I haven't looked at the forecast, but I'd say yes. The thaw and rain we had mid last week was just what we needed. Luckily it got cold again on Thurday night and all of that standing water on top of the ice froze solid. By Sunday we had an excellent 17" of ice yesterday in the bay of the lake.

Looks like tomorrow is good to go, I'll aim to show up as registration comes to a close. I'll be the guy in the white P10 with a bunch of camera gear!

Great! I'll be watching for you but you'll likely find me first, as you know what my car looks like. I am changing the left front wheel bearing today. Found play in it this morning.

If anyone else is in the Upstate NY area you should definitely think about taking a drive up to the lake and check this out tomorrow.

Sorry I missed today's ice race on Caroga Lake. I was coming back from northern, VT today. I ran in the New England region SCCA Winter Challenge rally last night.
