Thread: Emergency in new haven

Hey I'm having a little trouble with my transmission. I already have old one off and replacing with exact b13 for b13 tranny. It doesn't seem to be sliding together very well. Any pointers? I did not take clutch off. And if anyone can offer assistance with me I'll be able to throw in some bones, or brews. Or both whatever just need car together.

Are you sure the dowel pins are lined up correctly? It's a bitch to put in by yourself, it has to be all lined up, took me about 30 minutes the first time to just get it to go in

Good point with the dowel pins. If they're still in the block, and you've got them on the trans as well it obviously won't go in.

try to jack the trans up and get it at the same angle as the motor they'll slide right together about the third time you get frustrated with it. You do it enough though and you won't even blink an eye at it.
