Yeah, NYCPD are issuing a ton of BS quality of life summons. And there are lots of teens caught up in them who aren't answering these summons or people who do not realize they never answered the summons and have warrants for spitting on the sidewalk or walking thru the park after dark etc. 660,000 open C Warrants in Brooklyn lone. The court system wants them off the books.

so why don't they just expunge them if they're not serious offenses like "spitting on the sidewalk" really...I wouldn't go in either, I'd literally tell them to like my sweaty grundle lol

Because 15 years later you get pulled over in Bed-sty for a broken tail light and get to spend 18 hours as a ward of the city.... kids don't think about that stuff but it happened to my friend's dad once back in 1995.

Just another reason I'd never live in NY. Nothing against the people. I have close friends from there. It's just the stupid shit like this, and of course the dicks enforcing it. It's bad enough that my resident rent-a-cop tries to tell me I can't come outside after hours in my complex to smoke. I wouldn't go to court for spitting either. That list of things you go to court for is BS mostly. It's cool someone's trying to help out.
