Need help, will pay and supply beer..! Eastern CT.
Whats up fella's? So some of you may remember me from a few years back, I sold my car to take care of some financial issues. Well, I am back...or atleast trying to. I bought my old car(91 se-r) back minus a running motor, tranny, turbo kit, etc.. then bought a 92 se-r with a good jdm motor, tranny and other lil things i needed but it had a beat up body.

Anyways, my plan was to take motor/tranny out of one and put it in the other. Sounded simple.. well it wasnt to bad till it didnt start in the new car, cant get any spark. this was all the day before I was leaving for my honeymoon. So i just got back today, i swapped over all relays, fuses, swapped both harneses, checked fuses again... swaped out coil for one i had kickin around and got nothing, same for the distributer. now this motor was running and driving when i parked it and pulled the motor out. the car its in now has the battery in the trunk, no ps,ac,cc,abs, nothing...and im just stumped and out of a car which sucks. oh and i also use my jump pack up front to help crank it and help with any ground issues.

if there are any local guys able to come down after work this week or tonight whenever ill gladly throw you some cash if you can get it to fire up. oh and beer of course..

or if you can just reply with an easy fix that works just as well.

George

ANY help, ideas, suggestions grreatly appreciated

look into the ignition spark control unit. its the little black box on the side of the head right near distributor. not exactly sure of the name of it. i know if it goes bad u will have no spark. its bolted right next to the throttle body on the head. its about 1" x 2".

I also forgot to metion the red light on the back of the ecu will flash twice then pause and flash once more. Then it will flash 3 steady, then 4 fast flashes. Now I know it means something,I just don't know what..lol I have never had to deal with codes like that. And my scanner from work is to new so it wont work.. anybody have a clue?

Im not sure if those codes were set while it was running in the other car or not...
