Thread: Who would be interested in renting a fender roller from me?

I have a friend who is interested in rolling his fenders. I have connections through my shop who can get me an actual fender rolling tool, however it is expensive.

I already have a heat gun and would just need to get a infared thermometer to make this work.

I have unlimited usage of the shop I work for and would end up needing to charge 30-50 dollar rental fee for the use (and possible damage of my tools).

I would need at least 5-9 more people to agree to do this for it to break even on my end. I don't mind helping get the car in the air etc... but I won't actually roll your fenders as I don't want to be blamed for any damage.

Basically I rent you the tools and let you use my shop to roll your own fenders.

I would want to start doing it on Sundays or after work during the week and not overburden myself.

Would you offer advice, support and/or condolences? If so, sign me up!

Yeah I talked to my friend with a Spec V and I am going to order this up. I will help anyway that I can but people need to understand this isn't an exact science. I just don't want to get a bad name if someones paint cracks or a fender gets creased etc.

If you slip and fall on the floor I will help you to your car, just please don't sue me.

where were you before i used a Baseball bat & heat gun.....(it came out fine, but my hands were killing me aftwards)

In CT thinking about ordering a fender roller but no one really expressed much interest haha.
