Thread: SR20DEEP winter meet March 19th

Is anyone else coming up from the southern / east coastal area? Trying to plan a route. I'm thinking we will leave Atlanta around 1 am on Friday to be at the shop by 6 pm Friday for some wrenching.

Here is the route AAA suggested to the hotel:

I-85 north to I-77 north to I-81 north then I-78 east to I-287 north then I-87 south to I-287 east to I-95 north and finally I-91 into Meridan.

Anyone have a better plan for getting around the New York metro congestion?

Yeah, as I mentioned before, take the parkways after the GWB, exit 1a in NY. Hudsun to sawmill to hutchinson (I think in that order) to I15, Merritt Parkway. SOOOO much faster than going through NYC on I95.

Oh, and take I295 after the Deleware Memorial Bridge. Faster than running up the NJTP, especially around exit 7 on the NJTP (which never seems to move)

lol, its programming in MATLAB (matrix laboratory software) to analyze complex function behavior, such as minimizing the cost function for a beam based on the two dimensions of its cross sectional area with constraint functions on the size of the beam. Very important for most engineers, and I still suck at programming.
