Thread: Going to NY

What up NY peeps , need a little advice .

i want to go o Coney island , i never been and have heard many things such as " its closed , its too cold, there is nothing there , u will get mugged , beach sucks , boardwalk is dead ,etc.

Frannkly im going there regardless cause ive never been .

Just want to know whats thereal deal with Coney island from the locals who been there recently .

any advice and help is greatly appreciated.

I will be landing in JFK and taking the subway from there .

Its not bad man. Ull have fun. Why not hit manhatten and time square also.

its off season so alot of the bars and attractions are closed. Also the new management company has given alot of old time spot 3 weeks to vacate as they refused to renew their leases.

LOL, no im going to visit the inlaws in Jersey , But i figure since i will be in manhattan for 2 days i want to go to coney island . then 2 days in jersey a part called hackettstown

and 2 days in PA in east stroudsberg.




I will ill be in the tri state area for 6 days

Yea, hackettstown is right by island dragway.. as far as coney island..was never really my thing. There's some good bars on delancey street..make shore you check out katz deli on houston and ludlow..kinda pricey but deff worth it..

Not much to see at Coney Island since its off season. In fact, Coney Island (the neighborhood) is pretty rough! Go spend time in the city. From JFK to Coney will take you almost 2 hours by train.

really 2 hours , any other way to make it there faster?
