That whole skipping over lanes thing was hella junk.... i was there for 4hrs and got 2 runs in, way to many people. that means i paid $20 for 30 seconds of driving.

^True. I mean I didn't mind considering they moved me from 7 to 5. I ended up with 4 runs by the end of the night. I was hoping for a damn 13. Trap speeds were just beautiful but the drag radials just didn't wanna hook!

To Lebanon Valley's credit, they kept the track open an extra 30 minutes -- I'm sure they got a few phone calls from concerned residents last night. I could have easily gotten another pass in (for a total of 4) towards the end of the night. If that Chevy hadn't exploded, we would have had yet another pass (for a total of 5). I hear what you are saying though -- win some lose some.

LOL at the $/hr thing. We are a bunch of cheapskates, yet we are willing and happy to spend $20 (plus travel expenses) for less than a minute total of fun.

Following this argument to its illogical and hilarious conclusion: 1 full hour of on-track, in-car, driving at the drag strip = $1200! I mistakenly thought that drag was one of the more 'affordable' motorsports to partake in... yikes!

Well you gotta factor in the trips to and from the track. If you link up with a couple guys, it could be fun as hell. Granted, you run the risk of speeding/racing tickets. The highways are pretty empty at night. We decided to take an alternate route home last night. The road was pretty much like ~~~~~~~~ lol. I wish I had a wheel alignment and better tires!

I gave Tom the ricer flyby when I exited the Thruway. It was fun as hell.

Im not really that upset about it i was just there for fun and to get out of the house. just sucked because they moved all the lanes around and i got the crappy end i was in 5 then moved to 6 because some honky tonk boy locked his keys in his chevy. Then they skipped over both those lanes and went to 7.

yea me being a road racing guy noticed that a while ago. lots of people dont track race their cars because it costs 250 for a track day plus gas, but your getting 3+ hours of driving which is plenty by the end of the day.

we should hitup limerock for a group track day.. i could do instructing for yous guys, lead follows and such.. i think it would be badass.
