The names with underscores I made explicitly so they can be searched easily. In the help, highlight the whole name (including underscores) with the mouse, hit ctrl-C (hold control key (ctrl) down and hit C key) to copy the word to the clip board, hit ctrl-F to pop up the "Find" dialog, then hit ctrl-V to paste the word into the "Find" dialog. It will highlight all occurrences of the word and you can search for it in the document. This makes finding the definition easy.
You can also open the help html files directly into your favorite browser and use its search function.
As for the acronyms, they actually make understanding and finding things much easier. For example, "dTPS" stands for "delta (or the change in) Throttle Position Sensor", so you can imagine what a mess the help would look like if every occurrence of "dTPS" was replaced with all that verbage.

All of the ignition trims are logged on the "Data Screen", so that will tell you which trim is causing the "Final IGN" timing to change. You can then step through the log and watch the table trace to see whats effecting that trim.
