One recurring issue I'm having after this latest update is that the log saving functions crash the software. I also have details from an exception if you want to see them

Nothing was changed with that, but you can always send me any error or runtime error reports that the software generates when something happened and causes an early termination. Also give me a brief summary of what you were doing that caused it.

I use the software every day and rarely do I ever see anything like that, so sometimes these type of fixes are from users doing something in a different manner.

Also, make sure you give the folder you are writing to permissions to write and edit files. Sometimes windows permissions can cause headaches.

Any idea when this sort of stuff will be revised? Im trying to explain it to someone i sold a Nemu to, and i dont understand it myself still.

Like that we have dtps trim as a logged item now, but does this relate to a specific table? Does any particular table trace to this data? I usually get a value of 4, and the only table that has a value of 4 is dtps base TIF ect table.

I will try to work on a better explanation of the decel and accel tables in the help. The dTPS trim you see is the TOTAL accel fuel due to change in throttle.

You have a base table, and then "factor" tables that will add to that table depending on certain conditions (load, RPM, TPS).

The base table is "dTPS BASE TIF ECT TABLE" and the factor tables are "dTPS TPS FACTOR TABLE", "dTPS RATE FACTOR TABLE", "dTPS RPM FACTOR TABLE".

So what happens here is you start with your base table value and then you will multiply that table by all of the factors from the rest of the tables.

So say you base table is 5.4 msec and the factor tables are all 100% .. then your dTPS fueling will be 5.4 msec.

If you base table is 5.4 msec and all of your tables are 100% except your "dTPS RPM FACTOR TABLE" is 50% .. then your dTPS fueling will be 2.7 msec.

I will write a much better explanation for the help section, but that is a brief overview.

@OnTheChip might be able to elaborate a bit more.

Thanks John, i think that is actually close to how the description needs to be, less acronyms and more words and examples. All the bits with the underlining take a while to read and decrypt each label as you go along the line, and it all just ends up getting lost or wrong in the understanding of what its doing.

Ive managed to get the dreaded ocillating idle back again, goes from 1k to over 2k when i stop at lights or when backing out of driveways etc. Prob something ive changed incorrectly while trying to fix a accel or decel or idle issue. Timing is swinging from 7 deg to 24 deg, and afr goes super lean, which is not a fuel map issue, or timing on the timing map, and idle timing control has a max value of 4 deg, so no idea how the timing can swing so far.

Data screen says its working, my AAC valve wasnt for a while, actually prob for ages, but that hasnt helped issues much at all.

Been searching logs trying to work out what is allowing the timing to swing such large amounts, but made some changes last night out of guesswork and idea, and on the way home it didnt do it so bad, so need to drive again when its warm and see if the issue comes back. I found a table in deccel that might have been pulling fuel as the revs came down, causing lean, and o2 trim might have been trying to counteract it or something, i dunno. Still need to get my tailpipe fixed to stop the bumper catching fire, but my welder is stuck behind a P12 Primera getting a VET (genuine with VET ecu and all).
