05 Titan diff.
Jorge, I have a 2005 Nissan Titan 5.6l Vin. # 1N6AAO7B25N537176 with a noisy rear differential. I dissambled the diff. and found two broken gears in the carrier housing. Could you give me an estimate on the 4 spider gears.
Thanks, let me know if you need more info.

Hi Andy,

Unfortuntely, Nissan does not sell any of the internal parts of that diff. separately. You would have to purchase the whole diff. assembly. The cost is $2100.00 plus shipping and I have it in stock.

not to butt in on this convo........but there really should be a recall. our shop used to be littered with the rear ends, having at least 3 a month come in with locked up rears.

I hear ya!! The do have superceding part numbers now, so whatever issue it was that was wrong should be corrected. In regards to the recall, that's not something that I have control over. Writing letters and getting petitions is something that can help that out, but I really don't know to what extent. Good luck guys!!

I ended up getting a Detroit locker for $600 & change. Auto Zone had the carrier bearings. The truck is back on the road and running fine.

All the letters and complaints does do some good. The docomuntation is there as proof when an entire family DIES in a fire ball accident, because the rear end locked up. Unfortunately ,that is what it takes for anything to be done and how the automotive industry and this country works.

Thanks guys.
