Thread: Nismotronic Dealer/Tuner in Austin, TX?

Happy New Year! I'm still in the planning/research phase of 'going nismotronic' and was researching local tuners. You're site lists TAPTEC tuning as a dealer but their address is bogus.

I called and he just answered the phone w/a 'hello', no business name...fast talker... I asked if I had reached TAPTEC tuning (I shoulda asked what company I called (haha) and he said yes. He asked some basic questions about my setup and kept talking about all the stuff he's tuned. I asked if he has a shop..."I have access to a dyno." I asked where he was located and he went into a spiel about being a mobile tuner and he would come to my place and why I shouldn't drive it. All in all, it wasn't misinformation but I did not get a good vibe as the dude sounded sketchy to me.

Do y'all (or anyone you know of) have any experience with this company? I found the company name mentioned on NASIOC but there was nothing nice to say. I'm going with my gut here and will stay far away! Also, nothing on FB...

Are there any Austin, TX Nismotronic dealers that haven't made it on your dealers page yet, by chance? ...others in Texas?
