Flexsensor+NEMU1+NEMU2 ADC box not working
@JKTUNING
Hey John, was wondering if you've ever seen a similar issue

I recently upgraded to a V2 ADC box, but I cannot get it to work with flexfuel. When I hooked it up, the flex voltage just flickers between 0-120V! It goes really haywire, and just jumps between all kinds of voltages. I can provide a video if you think it would help.

Setup:
-NEMU1
-NUMU2 ADC
-Continental FlexFuel sensor
-Wired directly to the flex input

Any suggestions appreciated

Maybe this is related too:

-Corrupts tune after each power off. Possible battery bad, new ordered
-No longer full-realtime. Have to press CTRL+U for changes to take effect in fuel map.
-Capacitors have been replaced.

Check the voltage directly off of the sensor. If it is flickering around there, could be a bad sensor? I would disconnect the wire going to the ADC board before checking that in case there is some ADC issue causing a bad reading. Should be an easy thing to check that wire where it meets the ADC instead of getting to the back of the sensor itself.

@Dala has this been straightened out yet?

@D-Unit121 Nope. Starting to doubt that it's related to NEMU, since I tried hooking up my arduino flexconverter, and didn't get a signal... I will investigate it more this weekend.

Good luck, keep us posted.

@Dala - The NEMU1 firmware is not compatible with the flex input on the ADC v2 box right now.

We are actually working on a firmware update for both the V1 and V2 NEMU boards to better support the flex input on the box. I have a beta version to test as soon as I get a chance to do so.

I will keep you guys posted!

Thanks, I did some testing yesterday, and found out a shocking thing. I disassembled everything, to replace the 3V lithium battery. When I measured the battery it was at a healthy 3.6V. I then tried to download tunes to the barebone NEMU, and it worked perfectly. Then; Hooking up the V2 breakout board into my V1 NEMU is what makes the tunes corrupt. This really sucks, since I sent my V1 breakout board to a friend in need.

Is this also a known issue? Or did I break something?

Looks like I need to order a V1 breakout board from you

Big thanks to @JKTUNING for getting me a replacement V1 ADC so quickly.

No longer corrupts tunes, car runs perfect again!
