Thread: logger status cant go to live

I am having problem with my nismotronic sa. It only can connect with the the logger. However I cant go to live status.

My car is running rich AFR 9.2

New out of box issue or did it crop up suddenly from a working state?

Remove/cute the consult wires from the ECU harness, they have been known to cause interference issues.

It crap suddenly. I will cut the consult wire.

I cut the consult wires at the consult port. Nothingc change. The consult port is not attach to anything. I dont see any difference between cutting it and left it alone.

going rich and this issue occurred at the same time? I suspect the ecu itself. check engine light always on?

Yes. At the same time. Its s 13 sr20det so there is no check engine light at cluster only in Nismotronic. without live status I don't know what's going on. Both emulator and logger say connected.

You just need to reset the ecu.

I was under the impression that you had to cut the cables at the ECU connection, not the actual consult port? I cut mine right at the connector, worked perfectly!

It is either the ECU itself OR possibly the NEMU board.

You can try replacing the capacitors in the ECU first.

Then try replacing the ECU.

Then try the NEMU.

Generally if the software isn't going live it means that the ECU isn't communicating with the NEMU board.
