At what voltage does knock start?
On cyl 1 knock voltage limit, why is 5.1v on the entire rpm scale but other cylinder from 800 rpm start lower?

This actually shows you the inaccuracy of the knock sensor vs voltage.

The voltages depend on where the knock sensor is placed in the block and that is why the voltage vs cylinder tables are so vastly different.

I am getting knock trim whenever I got into boost . the voltage is pretty low , less than 2v and no knock count. Is the knock really happen?.

Do I need to keep retarding timing and increasing fuel until knock trim stop?

Why is after 4000 rpm, the knock is invalid in all cylinders?


when I renamed the adc setting , it does not correspond to the gauge layout. It remain adc1 and etc.


my tune and log. adc2 is gm3bar adc4 is innovate wideband

correct me john if i'm wrong about this, but cant you set the parameter's on when the knock sensor triggers?

Before you loose your mind trying to find knock, you may want to check the integrity of your sensor. Mine is bad and gives me similar readings as you @zurud ,but I just disable it because my balls are the size of my turbo.

It's hard to tell what's happening because the tcd data doesn't match the log data. The log shows timing about 5ยบ higher that what's in the timing map. Also, in the tcd, the MAP sensor is on ADC1 but disabled, and wideband is on ADC3.

I finally found the knock problem. Its the injectors. The wire come loose at the pigtail.. All of them. DONT BUY EBAY CONNECTOR.

After 4000 rpm is the knock sensor disable?

question, my KSV normally operates between .07-.08v. under load I very briefly hit .15-.16v on the KSV, is that bad/harmful? im trying to figure a good max voltage # to keep the KSV under at all times....
