That's so weird. I use his preset and the car idles crazy lean. I'll play with it and then I'll get a very steady idle with a very steady stoich aft and it'll idle like that for hours. As soon as I shut the car off and start it back up, here comes the leaness again

Dude, did you read my post?? Try my numbers and adjust up or down as a baseline. Sometimes, the latency numbers provided for one person will not work for your injectors.

ive tried the the #s from the injector rehab site, as well as the pre set #s, as well as yours. none of them have worked. I'd adjust the values and then I'd get a very steady idle with a very steady stoich afr (held between 14.6-14.8), and it'll idle great like that for hours. As soon as I shut the car off and start it back up, the same leaness issue would come about.

Teh adjust down the latencies in the voltage region you are having issues. Your cold voltage will vary from your full warmed up voltage.

It's a little difficult to fathom none of the options provided to you (some of which are pretty similar) are working.

Report back when you use Dana's suggestion.

a friend an I started looking at some logs a little more closely, and we think the ecu is trying to compensate for a lack of an 02 sensor since I am not running one. and we all know the 02 is mainly used for idleing purposes. we notice that that while the wideband is warming up the 02 voltage is extremely low, then once the wideband is warm and starts to show voltage, the 02 voltage then jumps to match the wideband voltage. im thinking the wideband operates at a different/higher voltage than the stock 02 so the voltages that the ecu is seeing, from the ecu's standpoint, is very off. therefore, it is trying to compensate. so now im trying to figure how I can make manipulate the ecu to make it think the o2 sensor is within a certain voltage range(that I desire) at all times no matter what.

If you have your O2 sensor disabled in the ECU, the MAP is NOT relying on O2 feedback........

You tune all the fuel regions, including idle latency, with the O2 disabled. Then once you have your numbers fairly close, that is the point you enable the O2 sensor if you want to operate in closed loop.

You say you're running no 02 sensor, but you are running a wideband right?

Why not connect the wideband to NEMU? That way you can run Wideband02 closed loop, and achieve great idle AFR.

same issues. disabled the o2 and the wideband for kicks and giggle. messed with the fuel section and got the car idling perfect. then, of course, once I shut the car off and cut it back on.....back to the lean-ness and slight idle hunt
