feels like intermittent rev limit at 7000rpm
When I hit 7000rpm with vvl engaged (N1 high cams) I get a sort of limiter feel the limit is set 8100rpm , does not happen when just on the lows. I have extended the maf value to I think 255 which seems to be the max and that helped. I just have a feeling I am missing something. I know I should run a log, going to connect the wide-band to nemu in the new year.
I should ad that I am running N62 maf and 550cc injectors.

If you can get a log of the car when it is doing this and/or send over your current tune file, I may be able to assist you without a wideband reading .. although having that will absolutely be the best.

Just read this thread,

Is it relevant to this issue?

might sound funny but yah if you dont have that stuff set right you might be hitting "boost cut" or something

logs will tell the story.

I just tried to get a log, but cant find it, maybe it didn't save. However I can give a better description, it sounds alot like anitlag, it came on a little earlier 65-6800 . I have increased the vvl to 4800(was 4500), and tps to 50% (was 40%) . I don't think boost cut is on . I will try another log tomorrow.

I discovered a crack in the manifold on the weekend .The crack is in the weld where all 4 pipes join, this may have something to do with it. Just grabbed a steam pipe set instead of stainless.Hopefully I will fit them soon and this may address the issue..
here is a copy of the TCD . It will be getting retuned soon so it would be good to check it before hand so adjustments can be made.

I fitted the manifold today ,I haven't had a chance to test it yet. Is it possible that the spark plugs are the issue, running the iridium 1.1mm gap, thinking of perhaps fitting the 0.8 mm.

The issue is a little better with the new manifold, but still present.
