Thread: Jk tune b14-b13 step down harness issues

I have a 1997 200sx se-r that runs perfect on the obd2 ecu but when I plug in the step down harness the car won't start or run. I have tested a few different b13 ecus one from a running car and still nothing. Does the 97 harness not work with the step down?

FYI this harness adaptor is not checking out. Wires are going to the wrong locations.

I had to reground the ecu due some of the grounds not agreeing with this car and it's good to go. Thanks.

That is really really odd, but I am glad you got it sorted out!

It was really odd. The injectors would not fire due to super low voltage. I added two new grounds and it works perfect. Thanks.

I'm going to chaulk it up to the car being motor swapped prior to it coming My way and something funky is going on with the harness so the new larger injector would not work.
The msd inj must need higher voltage to work while the stock inj will still function.
