Yes please keep us updated, I wanted to be part of this but could not make it this time. If this class works out I hope to be in one of the next sessions.

The class was really good, it honestly changed the way I thought about tuning. The biggest takeaway for me was that the way to tune correctly is to make your fuel table reflect what you want in real life - i.e. 100 fuel value is equal to 14.7 stoich or 1 lambda. The rest of the adjustments to fuel reside in your VQ table, Injectory battery offsets, ECT trims and you should adjust these so that your graph comes closest to approximating what you want in real life in your AFRs. This way you're not chasing your tail messing with your table all the time - it'll make it easier for you. Nismotronic can't be compared with Calum realtime at all imo. The way John has setup Nismotronic takes away a lot of the bullshit with the older tuning ways, I'm thinking about K value and needing different maps for different boost levels.

The class was seriously good value for the money, Dave and John really know their stuff. Even though my brain was fried each day at the end of class, I have a much better understanding of how all this stuff comes together. I also learned that AEM is a waste of money compared to Nismotronic ;x

For those of you who didn't make the class, and are going to the convention, you might be getting an abbreviated version of the class in Ohio. I won't speak for Dave and John but it sounds like something of the sort will be taking place there.

I can really say that for me, i went from not knowing a whole lot of Nismotronic, I learned a lot and now have a pretty good idea of where to go.
While i was there, I got SA package (thanks John!) and finally got to mess with it yesterday and I was impressed on how much of the class i was able to apply
I haven't tuned anything yet but just playing with log features and realtime. Just like Lee said as long as you have your fuel right, the rest can be taken care of easily.
Another good lesson was on how to analyze your logs to determine where to make changes.

My brain was done pretty much after each day but it was really cool and got to meet some good people!
