Flat shift setup
Ive got a B13 nismotronic for my JDM N14 pulsar gti. Im going to be running a gtir motor in it soon.

I want to use the flat shift function but N14's didnt come with a clutch switch. Is there a way I can retrofit one from an NX or a B13/B14?

Cheers all

I believe you can run your clutch switch as an adc input.

I use the cruise control cancel switch for my clutch switch (cruise control system has been removed).

That will just attach to the N14 clutch pedal yeh?

Dave, how do I go about having the ecu recognize the clutch switch if I wire it up to the cruise cancel switch?

I have also deleted my cruise controll and my car was originally an automatic.

I think the idea is to wire whatever switch to the PIN where the B13 clutch switch goes.

He means the clutch switch used for cruise control on manual cars, which goes on top of the pedal, so it engages basically as soon as you start pressing the clutch pedal. The actual clutch switch that works when fully depressed is too late to engage the ignition cut

If your N14 came with cruise control, there should already be an ASCD cancel switch installed, otherwise you'll have to rig one up that is closed when the pedal is released (clutch engaged).
