Hi, I'm trying to find out what ECU would work best with my car. It's a UK 96 P10 and the ECU is a 83J01.

Does anyone have any experience they wouldn't mind sharing, will a B13 ECU work for example?

You'll need to determine if your ECU harness connector is compatible, and then compare the ECU pinouts to select the most compatible ECU. It might be a direct plug-in, but you need to determine what, if any, the differences are.

You can get B13 ECU's from 100NX GTI models. Ebay would be your best bet to find one within the EU. You might need to redo afew pins like OnTheChip said

Thanks. I just needed some confirmation because most of the information on the net is for USDM ECU's. I'm pretty sure the UKDM's are different, being that the plugs are blue.
