MAP Sensor Install for Logging Purposes
From what I gathered from reading the help file posted in Nemu, there are 2 ways to install the MAP sensor..

You can either wire it directly to the breakout box, or tie it to your TPS 5v, and ground, signal from the maf..

Tying it into the TPS and MAF wouldn't give me the capability of logging as far as I know?

I'm assuming the best method would be to tie it back into my ADC Breakout box correct?

If I install it using my ADC breakout box, where is the best source for 5v, TPS?

@Jybfan04 In your case you would have to wire it to the ADC box, since you are still using the MAF sensor.

Wire the 5v source to the TPS's 5v power source, the ground to the ECU ground and the MAP output wire to the ADC box.

Then select the MAP sensor you are using and where it is wired into and then enable it and you should be good to go.

DO NOT SET IT UP IN THE "SETTINGS WINDOW" .. you will want to set it up in the maim TCD window in the "SETUP" tab.

Thanks John, the pin out for the ECCS is the same for my ecu correct?

I'm assuming that has to be wired into the breakout box as well?

For anyone reading, the pin outs are the same!

meh, do it like this chuck, wire 12v to the breakout (its one of the bottom ones) then use the 5v out for power for the map sensor, i usually ground the map to the same spot on the intake or close to it that the ecu grounds to.. then lastly wire the signal to one of the Adc's, then set it up it the setup tab..

i dont like tapping into other sensors power, i've done 2 cars this way an both are working great.

here ya go..

This is generally the bets way to wire the MAP sensor, for some it is a little complicated so it is sometimes easier to tap into the 5v power source.

I try to wire in everything through the ADC box as much as possible.

I think i'm just going to redo everything again, something i'm screwing up along the way...

I probably need to get some rest and start fresh... Maybe if I can telework due to the inclement weather coming my way I can tackle it tomorrow!

Thanks Guys!

I don't think my 12v for my cigarette lighter is functioning, I may have to get my wiring buddy over for further assistance.

I will post up if I can find a 12v source on my own!

Thanks Josh, you've been a tremendous help with squaring little odds and ends with my NEMU!
