I'm just dreading the idea of taking the intake manifold apart to put the other IACV on!

I wouldn't have this issue if I had a aftermarket intake mani..

nonetheless i'm looking forward to a solid running car and able to log vacuum all the way up into boost...

The sad truth to which of the AAC mounted on a S13 vs S14 intake mani

............if it makes you feel better, I have a custom intake, but it was modeled off a stock AAC location.......... . Yeah it sucks!

Just keep trucking. Had to take a 1.5hr break today as I was getting frustrated. Breaks are good for these things

I wish I would have known you were fiddling with your car today I would have lent a lending hand!

Weather was pretty decent early on too!

If anything, I wouldn't have mind seeing your setup of things..

Thanks Lynch, I have to start back using it. I used it on one of my other laptops, but have since transitioned to another one and totally forgot to enable it on there.

Yeah, getting my IACV working made it worse actually.

Last log i did i found that it was actually revving up into fuel cut, then cutting fuel on the way back down, making it go lean and then struggling to catch the rpm drop as the fuel comes back on, then over compensating and revving back over 2k again, over and over and over for about 20 secs often, also fuel cut pulls 15 deg of timing, so this makes the revs drop even faster. Im surprised that fuel cut doesnt have a speed limit, so it wont work under say 5kph or something.

I finally got pissed off with my crazy idle issues, unplugged the AAC valve, opened the bleed a little, and adjusted the throttle idle up mechanical valve to open the throttle a bit when cold.

The car is idling heaps better. Drives way nicer.

So i guess my question is, why can SA not control the AAC valve properly? The car has been a total embarresment to drive for the last few weeks, revving to 2k, then almost dying, then rev to 2k again, at traffic lights, outsider peoples houses etc.

SA can control the AAC valve properly BUT it only does what you tell it to.

When I daily drove my personal car on SA it had absolutely zero idle issues, infact the idle quality was 100x better than factory.

Now, that being said. I went back over the most recent tune file that you sent me about a month ago and found some issues that might be causing your problem. I sent you over a revised version that hopefully will help with your issues.

If you have a more recent TCD that you want me to check over I am more than willing to lend a hand.

I have not ever had an idle problem with the NEMU ECU in my stock B13. I felt the idle was stronger and faster to react than the JWT ECU.
