Thread: Scaling and sizing injectors and sd factor

My issue seems to be unique. I am using 1000cc injectors and am having huge deviations in cruising afrs with minor fuel map changes.

Initially I had fueling issues with anything over 4k rpm. I increased the ad factor by 25% and this helped open up the top end. However, Dave says the sd has to be scaled down, not up.

What is going on. Is the injector scaling not working? The sd factor?

Are you maf?
If you are should you not be adjusting the maf factor and not the sd factor...

Sd= speed density
