Injector close time
Is there a standard value this should be set to? All the base TCD's provided has it set to -30 while the TCD I have it is all set to 10.

All base TCDs have the values set to the factory injector close timing, which is different between engines. SR20DET is -30, SR20DE FWD is 10.

Would this affect a sr20de-t?

You can play around with it to see if it improves power, drivability, and/or millage. Running a turbo with non-turbo cam overlap may not like retarded injector close timing. Try it and see.

I think this is the issue I am having. I have good afr's til about 4k, when timing starts getting pulled the cars falls on its face.

This controls injector timing and has nothing to do with ignition timing. This table controls when the injector closes relative to TDC on the exhaust stroke. The injector opens based on the injector pulse width.

Are you saying that the table controls the point in which the injector fires?

The table controls when the injector closes in crank degrees relative to TDC on the exhaust stroke. The ECU calculates the injector open timing based on the rpm and injector pulse width.

Oh ok. I dont know why that was so hard for me to wrap my mind around. Now why would the injector be closing on the exhaust stroke?
