Thread: Need to bypass air valve under intake mani

So I'm not sure if b14's come with this valve but I know b13's do. I'm troubleshooting my high idle problem and I get to this sensor/valve and my car doesn't have one installed, there's just a hose bypassing the where the valve should be and there's no sensor connector. How can I bypass it if possible? I'm running a det with Nismotronic.

So to anyone else trying to figure this problem or four themselves, if you don't have that air valve under the intake connected, regardless what your so to your idle (based on my exp), your car will suffer from a high idle issue. What I did was I went to Oriely's and bought some vacuum line caps and capped along with some clamps on each nipple. Car idles at 950ish now, where as before, it would idle around 1500rpm. Hope this helps someone.

Yep, gotta plug ALL those vacuum leaks.
