wideband closed loop feedback opertion/ auto tune?
Whats the purpose of letting the ecu is data from the wideband instead of the narrow band?

Just so we can axe the narrow and run just one sensor (wideband)

If the ecu can now use the wideband for closed loop could we in essence just set the whole map in closed loop and have it self auto tune somewhat?

Obviously you would still need to adjust everything else, but with the more difficult to set MAP/TPS tables

The purpose of using a wideband is so you can control AFR more accurately and run closed loop AFRs other than 14.7. You control how much of the fuel map is closed loop enabled with the MAX RPM and MAX LOAD parameters, however closed loop is active only during steady state conditions (not accelerating or decelerating, and with throttle steady) like cruise and idle. The TARGET AFR table scales can also be edited so you could specify closed loop for the entire fuel map, however there is always a delay between when the target AFR changes and that AFR is achieved.

I didn't know the ECU could use the signal from the wideband to control closed loop funtion. That can help me get these 1600cc injectors to idle better. Everytime I think i have it right it starts to idle funny again.

You will likely need to idle the 1600cc injectors a bit richer thatn 14.7

The SA version allows you to use the closed loop AFR target table to set a target afr vs load and rpm.

You DO NOT want to use this under wide open throttle conditions.. if your wideband would happen to fail during WOT and it would fail on the rich side then the ECU would be pulling fuel when it shouldn't be.
