Thread: Car running horrible when cold

Hey guys,

I was using my sr20ve ECU for daily driving and swaping to my nemu for tuning, so every time I used it the car was at operating temperature.

Now I'm just using nemu and every time the engine is cold the car runs really rough, even to the point it turns off. I suspect it may be related with TPS and ECT enrich settings but not sure where to start.

I did log it so you can see what's up.

I can't download the files atm but guessing it's lean.

From cold look at what's ect enrich zone it's in and add 20 or 30 percent around that zone. Do you have wideband? What afr is it when cold?

The log includes AFR as I'm using direct wideband connection.

Ah i had a quick look then Nismotronic crashed again, i seem to have regular issues with this when view logs for some reason. Will try have another look tonight.

Try changing the items that you are trying to view .. if I can't replicate the issue it makes it very hard for me to catch!

To the OP, your best bet is to increase your ECT vs enrichment table.

I'll add 10% and see how it goes, I'll report back
