Fan working issue with SA
Hi !
Have played with new SA today and noticed some problem that when engine is on warmed temp like 90-94 celsius the electrical fan wont start to cool engine down ! Tryed to wait until temp go to 103 Celsius but no electrical fan to start !
With RT it works fine , fans get started on 94 celcisus and cools to 90 all works fine. But with SA fans not working. Tryed to play with stock function parameters set enable fan but no effect , tryed different temp ranges but nothing !
All electrical is fine , like relay , fuse ! Need to find where the problem is ? Where i can change some function to get fan-s start to work ?

To test your fan output simply disable the stock function.

Then go to outputs and try to enable the fan using the General Output section.

Set the output to Rad Fan and then enable the TPS parameter (10% ON and 8% OFF).

Turn the key off and push the pedal greater than 10% and see if your fan turns on. Also you can log the FAN output in the data screen to make sure the ECU is logically turning the fan on.

The stock fan control absolutely does work, it just might be an issue if you started with the GTiR base calibration and if that is the case I will look into it for you ASAP.

But either way, it should still work by enabling the fan control via the outputs section of the software thus completely by-passing the stock function.

I have a Pulsar GTIR and started it with SR20DET-Gtir tcd.file but i use B13 SR20DE ecu .
I will try this method with TPS like you say and see what happens !
do i need disable only rad fan control or also the psp idle up function?

You will need to use the appropriate B13 SR20DE TCD for your ECU. Outputs are ECU specific.

Ok today i tryed B13 sr20de tcd with imported fuel and timing maps from gtir tcd and injectors change to 750cc and maf load change to 1600 and maf changed to U13 sr20det maf 290hp. With this modified tcd car wont start , also it wont start with full stock b13sr20det tcd.
With a GTIR tcd its works fine.
Then i tryed getting Fan-s work trought setting output and ECT setted to 93 cels on and 90 cels off and stock function is disabled . Like that the Rad Fan-s started and working now fine.
I think i need go from GTIR tcd becaus sr20de tcd wont work with Pulsar .

The SR20DE tcd will work with the pulsar and that is the base TCD you should be using.

You have full access to everything you need in the software to get the B13 TCD to work with your pulsar engine with the modifications you have.

Start with the SR20DE MAF tcd. Change the MAF to U13 and then change injector size to 750.. then change your injector battery offset (find your latency values online if you do not know them).

Then give that a shot.. if this works then simply import the timing map over from the GTiR.tcd, then right click -> Copy Load scale on your primary fuel map and copy FROM primary ign map.

If you need help with this, just send me an email and I can get you a TCD that should get you up and running!
