can i place the sensor pre-turbo? or does it need to go in the charged section by the TB?

Does turbo heat up air, then intercooler cool air, then engine bay reheat the air? I hope all of the variables answer your question .

yeah i figured.. probably have to jb weld the bastard in there i guess.. i cant wait till my friend gets a good welding setup lol

You absolutely want to put it post turbo and intercooler!

Agreed, I log both sides and you absolutely want post intercooler.

The pre temp is fairly stable and consistent (a little heat soak if standing still). The post temp varies all over the place depending on speed and load.

You want it close to the throttle body too, that way it's what the engine will be seeing. My JB welded ports seem to be holding up fine right now, been 3 weeks already. Boost leak tested yesterday and no problems there .

Now that's good to know. I already got mine post it, guess I could always rip it off and reJBweld it.
