NismoTronic tuning packing is the ultimate OEM ECU tuning solution for our cars. It turns your OEM ecu into a standalone ECU thanks to TunerCode firmware.
NismoTronic tuning software is miles ahead of other Nissan tuning software, it's also dedicated to our ECU's, thus no universal/generic adaptions to fight with. AEM UEGO support was the biggest plus for me, NiStune is the only other software that supports UEGO, but paying $200 just for UEGO data-logging doesn't sound appealing to me
.
Datalogging is another strong feature, everything is logged, savable and reviewable. Map tracing is included by default and makes tuning a breeze, no more guessing on which cells you are in! If you ever used NDS, you will be in love with how much easier it is to datalog and simultaneously tune! You can also export your logs to CSV, review with other software, or feed that CSV into Virtual Dyno and get your estimated WHP/WTQ output.
Price is another strong point, Calum ECU's used to sell for more then $400. All you got was a daughterboard for your ECU, you had to pay extra to get Tuning Software and then Datalogging software. All of it was universal and not SR20 specific, thus it didn't integrate well together. With NEMU, for $550 you get a much more advanced daughterboard, you get TunerCode firmware, and tuning software that is miles ahead of TunerPro and NDS.
If your NA you will benefit from all of the new tuning features, but if your turbo this ECU is a must, otherwise your missing on vital tuning features that could save your motor. Honestly before NismoTronic I was tuning in the dark, it was guess work, and I'm lucky I didn't melt my motor.
