Hello i have a b13 with a sr20det have had it bout 2 years got it with the swap already in it and it ran alright, dont got many sr20 people around this form helps alot

He lives in Altoona. I have not been out there since 1996. Out in the sticks would be where he is at. Glad you are here. I am down in Southeastern PA with a couple cars. Welcome to the forum, don't hesitate to post some photos to appease our ocular desire for more SR20.

PA is basically two states, eastern and western PA. Eastern, especially the SOUTH eastern area is quite similar to NJ and further north, the Poconos and Scranton etc. are similar to NYC culture. Once you go west and cross State college, it kinda basically becomes the midwest. Very strange phenomenon, even the terminology for certain everyday items changes.

Here's a little map of these towns. I'm a bit below Bethlehem, Todd is just east of Reading, and Kyle is further south. PA takes a good 5-6 *hours* to drive straight across. It's crazy. I went to graduate school just west of York at Shippensburg. Its all flat farm country round those parts.. but my point is, if you live in the eastern part of the state like many of us PA guys do, Altoona is a HAUL to get to

So? New Jersey is 1/10th the size of PA and it has distinct cultural differences in the North and South. Completely different

SOOOO...that's quite an interesting scheme they have going on there...and seems to be more different EAST vs WEST according to the all knowing google. In eastern PA, you drink soda and might say "yous," while in western PA, you drink pop and say "yinz" a'la Speedo.

Wawa is a regional treasure in Philadelphia and the surrounding regions, a haven for those who desire nasty gas station food. In western Pennsylvania, Pittsburgh in particular, residents can be found making trips to CoGos or GetGo for all their late night munchies. For me personally, Sheetz was the shit when I drove through.

And in western PA, for some reason french fries find a home within sandwiches, popularized by Primantis in Pittsburgh. In eastern PA, cheesesteaks are all the rage.

AND the average human head weighs 11 pounds.
