Hey Guys!
Hey everyone! I'm stoked to be here and hopefully have a few questions answered and meet new people who have a passion for Nissans and more importantly the sr20DET. I'm from Burnaby, B.C, Canada (possibly moving to New West Minister or Kamloops, undecided so far), I am almost finished my Automotive Technician Level One studies at BCIT, and I just recently bought the worst decision of my life; a 1989 Nissan 240sx with a swapped in sr20DET. Unfortunately said engine and car have some problems that need attention and I thought the best way to find out information would be to ask around some of the experts as restoring/building a car that was a few short steps off of being considered a "missile" is not something I feel confident doing myself without some help and advice.

I don't have a vast knowledge of working on cars (nobody in my family had the passion for them and I wasn't one of those kids whose dad, grandpa, or uncle would show them how to work on their old hot rod or truck; this first year of learning has been virtually my only year of knowing how to work on cars). That being said, I do apologize for being a huge newbie and for at any point asking cringe worthy or face palmable questions.

Overall I'm just happy to be here and I'm eager to learn new things from people far more experienced and versed (and also those who aren't) than I am when it comes to the sr20 engine and my S13. Thanks for having me and allowing me into the community.

Thanks for the warm welcome haha I'm glad to be here. I'm not the most technically or mechanically versed so I'm sorey if I ask some pretty obvious or dumb questions.

Just use the search first and then it will help you ask the right questions or find you the right answers.
P.S. pics of the project are encouraged
