Also just an update on the car. Check engine light turned off 2 or 3 days ago and hasn't turned back on. I thought the problem was an O2 sensor but now I don't know what it was.

There are a handful of us in SC here. One of them even owns a repair shop in Columbia and is deep in the MR2 and SR20 scene, among others.

Thanks, I would like to meet some people that are into similar cars. Most of the people around here are into domestic cars.

Stop by the shop some time. Let them know you're from the forum.

Maybe. I'm a little over an hour away, but I would definitely like to do that at some time

I haven't updated this in about a month, but not too much has happened. About 3 or 4 days ago my brake lights were stuck on and I replaced the rubber piece that pushes the brake light switch on the pedal, and it's been fine since then. Also I've cleaned the car a lot, the interior looks really good now, but i also pressure washed the engine bay and washed the car.

I would caution against pressure washing an engine, but you do you.

The interior is looking great. Good catch on the break pedal switch.

Yeah I wasn't entirely trusting on it, but my dad used to work at a used car dealership and they pressure washed every engine bay of every car and they didn't have problems with it. Also it was low pressure and never really got that close to anything, so I was okay with it in the end. Also thanks very much about the interior
