Thread: New member from South Carolina 2002 P11 G20

I still gotta put the other mirror on after I fix the rust, but I also have an accord lip I've had for around 6 months that I gotta put on eventually. I think it'll look good.

The mirror will be on tomorrow because I actually had a couple of days that were warm enough to spray paint. Here's how it ended up looking:

It is rough, but not as rough as it was. I used a wire brush on the rust before I sprayed anything. It is also gonna be covered by the actual mirror housing so it doesn't matter that the color isn't quite right or that it isn't exactly smooth. (paint also needs to dry and i'm no good at spray painting in general so i'm happy with how it looks right now.)

I haven't posted any updates in a while, but not a lot has been done. The mirror obviously went on after I finished painting, and I test fitted my accord lip with zip ties. I need to install it for real some time soon.

I think that it looks pretty good. Will eventually be going on.. I also took a picture when it snowed a little while back.

I am considering debadging my car entirely and getting one of the nismo grill copies online. Car was a little dirty but I took a couple pictures of my car that I liked.

Would love to see but Google does not like hotlinking like that.

Thanks, definitely will try but not too much money to buy car stuff, especially when my mr2 isn't working currently. Btw are there other people on this forum from South Carolina?
