New member with 93 & 94 SE-R in KY
Hello Everyone,

I have occasionally visited this sight for a about 5 years. My first Sentra was a 92 model with a 1.6 liter engine. It was our family car for a few years. We wore it out. In 2010 I purchased a 93 SE-R in Sedalia, MO. It had about 190,000 miles on it at the time. I was a rust free car that had found it's way from New Mexico. The original owner was a retired General Motors engineer who worked for the Pontiac division in Detroit. He was meticulous in his care of the car. I have benefited from that care. It has been my daily driver and now has 317,000 miles on it. It is showing some wear, but is still a great car. It is mostly stock. It has the K&N air filter setup. The color is white. I hope to get 400,000 miles out of it.

Last week I purchased a 94 SE-R in Seattle and drove it to my home in Kentucky. It has 77,000 miles on it. It is rust free. I hope to only drive it in nice weather as long as I can drive the 93 SE-R when mother nature gets nasty. It has the 91 stock SR20DE intake cam, new timing chain tensioner, short ram air intake, egr delete, JGY 2.25 inch system with test pipe/cat delete, hotshot (ebay) stainless steel header, magna flow muffler. Walbro 190 fuel pump, suspension tech spring, kyb excel G struts, energy suspension sway bar bushings and end links both front and rear and stainless steel braided brake lines front and rear. New Nissan super black paint. It has new snow tires on original Nissan SE-R wheels on it. It needs as set of all weather or perfromance tires. I think the gas tank will need to be dropped and boiled out as well. It gave me a little trouble on the drive back from Seattle when the fuel level dropped to 1/4 tank or less.

I thoroughly enjoy both cars. I have a lot to learn about them. In the future I hope to rebuild the 93 once it is tired, maybe go with the SR20VE top end and the SR20DE bottom end. I've read that is a good performance setup. I hope to make some good contributions here and learn from other members as well.

It was quite a haul from Seattle, but I enjoyed the car and was able to see a lot of beautiful scenery. I stopped at Devils Towers in S.D. and the Badlands. The Cascade Mountains in Washington State were impressive. I'm not sure about how to post pics. I think I need to add them to my gallery. I'll check it out.

I did not see how to add pics to my gallery. I may not yet have permission to do that.
