New member from Kansas! '91 Sentra SE-R
Howdy everyone. Just drove back from Ohio with a Sentra SE-R a friend sold to me for a dollar. 80k on the engine, 200k on the body. Plenty of rust that I'll have to cut out and patch, horrid ebay suspension, boogerwelded exhaust, no headliner, no AC, no blower motor, leaky radiator, and some other small problems.

My daily driver is a 1997 Buick Riviera naturally aspirated with 200k miles on it that I bought for $650

My other racecar is a '91 Mazda Miata I'm in the middle of turbocharging on a budget so tight I can't even afford the shoestrings.

I also have an '05 Mustang V6 vert I'm trying to get rid of.

Nice to meet you all. My plans for this Sentra are to restore it fairly close to its original glory in a sort of "factory plus" configuration. Upgraded suspension, exhaust, some minor modifications that look like they could be factory. Like I mentioned, I'll be cutting out the rust and patching the riddled bodywork then sending it off for some fresh black paint, refinishing the best stock wheels to come on any car ever, and thrashing the hell out of that glorious SR20 at the autocross.

Nice to meet y'all

Welcome to the family....You cant beat that for a dollar!!
Good score.
This forum has an abundance of info archived to help you
out...check out the Manifesto at the top left of the pages to save some time.
Some info is out of date but most is still pertinent (sp?)to these cars

Thanks for posting pictures. Huge plus there!

Nice family. The Sentra is my favorite as that will probably be favorites for many others.

I have to admit, I have not seen the Riviera of that body style in years. Reminds on of some "bottom of the sea" creature.

Welcome to the forum, enjoy your stay.

Yeah. The Riv definitely looks like a blue (green?) whale. I've somehow developed an affinity for 90s bubble styling that I didn't used to have. Thanks for the welcomes!

mine was painted with Rustoleum "Hunter Green". Seafoam green is an OEM color that's much lighter and oh god I wish I had that color.

Hey dude, if you ever for some reason remove that wrapping on the header primaries let us know the condition of them underneath. I've heard mixed about doing that, both good and bad.
