1991-1994 Maxima rear brakes are the calipers you want. Those maintain the correct e-brake location. Any aftermarket 1991-1994 Maxima caliper will bolt to the Sentra hub. A rotor is the issue and a simple re-drill to match the Sentra bolt patter fixes that issue. Match pads and hardware with the torque members of the 1991-1994 Maxima and that caliper will be an upgrade.

The Hawk HPS part numbers for the 1991-1994 Eclipse Turbo that fit the NX caliper with the slight ear modification is HB213F.626. Depending on how long and how hard you will be slamming your brakes, you may want to be looking at other alternatives because these pads will overheat with heavy footwork on the brakes. I can overheat them on the street but I drive like a maniac.

I'm not doubting Kyle on the rear parking brake thing, but when I installed the recommended rear Maxima calipers, I needed to hunt down some G20 parking brake brackets and grind off a locating nub to get anything even close to clearing for those parking brake cables.

For the upgraded rear rotor, you want the Japanese 4x100 258mm disc.

Rock Auto has a few listings for it, you may find more than these by poking around.

Amazon may also have them. The key to finding them is the 258mm diameter. They're dirt cheap, I've bought them for under $20 more than once. And the nice thing about these is you don't need to redrill them like the Maxima or G20 rotors.

Geo went all BMW/Porsche, but if you post to the old SE-R mailing list, he's still there (me too). I do still talk with Geo from time to time. What happened with Rick Zotz, I'm not sure.







I remember reading that the Maxima calipers needed from the SE Model, and the years specified were 93/94, but no actual part number was given in that thread (don't have it readily available to verify). Ideally I'd need to know what numbers are stamped on the caliper for easy reference at the junk yard.

Good info on the Eclipse pads. I'm thinking I may fabricate some brake ducting to help with cooling. Part of the fun of a new build, lots of grand ideas. But first I still need to get the garage cleaned out... LOL
