92 B13 SE-R Owner
I have a 1992 SE-R I bought a few years ago that needs a lot of work. It's going to cost me way too much over the next few years.
I signed up today because I need to replace my suspension, and I've been looking at Fortune Auto's 500 series coilovers w/Swift springs. I have a few questions I was hoping the community could help answer.
If I don't get help here, I will probably re-post in the brakes and suspension forum once I'm allowed too.
Fortune Auto's 500 series defaults to 8K front, 4.5K rear spring rates. I asked them why, and they said that it's ideal for comfort, in conjunction with their shocks valving profiles.
Most owners don't seem to run the fronts that high, or have such a difference between front and rear.
Does anyone have experience with these rates on a B13?
Would it be advisable if I order them 6K front and 4K rear? Should I stick to the defaults? I drive on tarmac, but the roads around here can be pretty rough and have the occasional pot-hole. Thank you.
