Nice! My guess is that the transmission swap was done with an older LSD tranny which didn't have a crank position sensor location. If you look at the part of the bellhousing that faces toward the front of the car there should be a small sensor held one with a 10mm bolt. If this is not there, that is your problem. If there is a sensor there it is possible that the wrong ecu is in the car or that the flywheel used does not have the proper tooth count for an OBDII application (nissan had these on OBDII in 95 even though it wasn't necessary until 96).

Looks really nice! Like Jay, I've been looking for a nice G20t for a while too. Great find and welcome to the forum.

Now you can give it a nice road test and meet some of these wonderful people June 17-21 in Winchester, VA.

I'll have to crawl under there and check it out NY. Unfortunately, I won't be able to make it out to VA. We have a 2 month old that's taking up most of my free time, and all of my wife's time.

LOL, I remember the days when it took both of us to change a diaper...so afraid you're gonna hurt 'em. Just wait 'till the second...you'll be tossing 'em around like a sack of potatoes whilst holding the other under your arm like a football!

Lol, yea. I have an older daughter from a previous relationship. The new baby is my wife's first. It took her 6 weeks to realize she could set the baby down for a few minutes an she wasn't going to explode or anything.

Found out about the transmission swap.

Is a 95' G20t trans. Came from a guy who wanted a 6-speed. The seller said it had about 50k miles on it, and was gone through before the install. It has a redesigned 5th gear, resurfaced flywheel, and an Action Clutch stage one clutch kit. The clutch kit was purchased 07/14. The work was done by Patrick "Klutch" Davis. Don't know if that name rings a bell or not.

Sadly, it needs a passenger side axle (or at least the boot replaced).

I'm still looking for swap info, but I've pieced together that I'm looking for an Avenir motor with ECU, and a front mount intercooler?
