Thread: hi from NZ....w11 avenir problem help needed

hi guys. Ive got a w11 avenir gt4-z,and am having trouble finding an oil filter.The last one i used was a veruspeed nismo filter, at $70 im not keen on buying another one,so have sourced a wix filter,but the sales place gave me one with a smaller thread,and when i took it back they gave me a non turbo one that fits (20mm thread).....is it ok for me to use this one or do I need a turbo filter...which are a bit steep on price?

Yes the sr20det W11 is a 20mm Thread. So once the seating area is good and the filter is not to tall it should work

cheers for that. But will a non turbo filter be as good as a turbo filter?
the new one is slightly shorter by a CM or 2.

any ideas on the filter questions guys?
Also i would start a thread in the turbo section for another question I have but Im not allowed to start one for some reason,and after mailing the admin a month ago,still no responce......PITA for sure.:???:
