Thread: New to the forums

Hello everyone,

I am new to these forums. I came here to learn more about what I can do to make a current project that I'm working on; a successful one. Recently, I have picked up a 96 200SX SER with a blown SR20DE motor. I will be working to swap a BB SR20DET motor into it and would appreciate a little bit of support from those who have done the swap before. For the actual swap, I will be working with a colleague of mine who owns a shop (with engine hoist/lift) and has experience swapping engines (but not the BlueBird SR20DET in particular). I have done extensive research on the subject and am very comfortable with the information I have found, other than a few small nuances with vacuum routing and intercooler piping (I was thinking of going with JGYCustoms).

My goal is to at least get the car running with the factory top mount intercooler and downpipe. Then, once I get more funds, I will slowly build on the project while keeping it garaged. I hope these forums are still active.

Welcome. There is a still some activity on these forums. Maybe not as much as years past, but there is some.
