Thread: New to Nissans, B15 SE

Hi Folks

I recently bought a 2001 SE with 113,000 miles. This is my first car, I have always had truck/SUV. I've done a few things to it so far but nothing serious. AEM short ram intake, Infinity valve cover, and an Sr20-Forum license frame. Like I said, Nothing serious. I commute 60+ miles per day in this and get 30-33mpg. Beast commuter.

Only issues are the sunroof does not work and the driver door has rust along the bottom.

Running K&N since this photo was taken.The sticker has already fallen off of the oil cap.

Updates and stuff since I can't post in any other forums. Set of Unorthadox Racing pulleys are installed. New K&N pod filter and passenger side axle. I have ordered a header/down pipe and plan on a custom 2.5 inch exhaust with a big ass resonator.

I've owned a b15 SE since 2000. Great cars and makes great daily. I'm close to pushing 300k. I have the same rust problem. Header alone makes a huge improvement.

Awesome car, we love our 170k mile 00' SE! You are getting better mileage though, we can only get about 28mpg highway... Also doesn't take much to turbo it!

Jet Hot coated header. Going to get a full 2.5 inch Magnaflow exhaust. I want to keep it nice and quiet at low RPMs but I want it to BRAAAAAAAPP! up high.
