I work a 1/2 mile from that place. My friend has went there a few times, said it was a blast.

VE in a b13 is always a good idea and pretty reliable. The 6sp may not be worth the effort for an NA build, it can be more trouble than its worth for lower power applications. You can always get an HLSD and different FD setups for the various 5sp transmissions. A lot of track enthusiasts prefer an upgraded VLSD because it doesn't open up if one of the tires leaves the ground (if you hit some curbing for example).

I'm not too concerned about that negative aspect of the HLSD as the car probably won't see the track too much and I don't expect to be lifting a front wheel on the street or autoxing =). I'm very interested in what HLSD and other VLSD options are there for for the 5 speed, though!

Honestly other than my recent research into the ve swap, I haven't looked at mods for my Sentra in about 10+ years. Then there had been a single run of Quaifes for the fwd sr 5 speed, but they were all but mythical. If there are reasonably priced/accessible options I would likely go that route.
