new to this forum
Hey everyone. I have had my white '93 Classic since '99. It was lightly modded for autocross shortly after (AGXs, 1st gen hypercos, header/exhaust) and was my DD/autocross mule for many years. It hit a road course for the first time a couple of years ago (Carolina Mortosports Park). Shortly after, the driver's side door decided to stop opening and it has been parked.
I decided that now is a great time to show it the love it really deserves in the form of a VE (N1 and bolt ons) swap (and a new door). So I've been pouring through the pages and pages of amazing resources offered here in preparation. My goal is a dead nuts reliable (read mostly OE), but fun DD and occasional autocrosser/track day.
I'm also considering (if finances allow) a six speed swap. That helical just makes me drool.
My current DD is a stock '02 Miata and my current toy is a '73 510 with a KA24DE.
That mostly sums me up...
