Kansas City building 92 se-r
Hi im Shawn.
This is my first build ever.
Been reading the forum pretty every day for awhile now, tons of great information but I need to start posting so I can post...lol
I picked up an empty 54c block and bored it to 87.5mm had everything decked and resurfaced. Put acl race bearings in and dropped the 8cw crank in with gtir main bolts. Its in spec and glides real easy. Currently gapping the rings. Have det supertech pistons with valve reliefs on bc h beam rods with the arp 2000 bolts. Have the gtir head but picking up a 20ve head to drop on instead, middle of next month.
This is going in the shell I purchased from Ashton.
Have more plans but they arent set in stone yet so I will update later.
Funny story today, well annoyingly funny. There is a tiny auto salvage place right down the road from my house that I've been meaning to take a look at. You never know what you might find. I regularly visit the big yards, there are 2 within 10 miles and another 2 within 20 miles. This tiny place right on my block has a privacy fence and maybe 20 cars tops. I finally stop by today and ask about a 91-93 sentra se-r and the guy slaps his forehead and says "man we had one for 2 months and just sent it to the crusher 2 days ago.. I couldn't believe it! He confirmed it was 2.0 manual and everything. He said no one touched it so they got rid of it!!!
BUMMER
Anyways thanks for having me everybody!
Shawn
