Thread: New to the SR, from Norway

Hi!

I'm a 28 year old guy from Norway and I've been into cars for the last 12 years or so.

I'm new to the SR20, but from the looks of it it's perfect for my latest project car. I hope the user group in this forum can help me out.

Since I can't post anywhere else, I could just aswell tell my plans and progress here..

Got a built block for cheap, a local drifter built it and changed to a 1JZ after mapping (dynoed 550 rwhp, if it matters anything). Doing a few changes to the block before it's going into my car though.
88mm (do I definately need sleeves here?)
Costum rods/pistons on the way (CP/Carillo)
Chromoly main caps w/1/2" studs
1/2" head studs
HKS MLS head gasket in house
Mazworx dry sump
SR16VE head with a little bit of work
N1 or custom grind cams
ITBs
Custom diffuser plenum
Full-Race header
GTX3582R/GTX4088R/Borg Warner EFR 9180/8374

Aiming high, will probably get a little less but should still be enough I want a raceable engine since this is going into a time attack built car. I won't be close to streetable
