Greetings everyone, new to the dash. My name is Brian and I live in central MO. I drive a 91 SE-R with a w11 swap along with my bolt-on Spec V. Looking forward to meeting some of the folks on here and learning a thing or two in the process. I enjoy nissans and am happy to have owned a few over the years. Cant wait to get my classic up to par with some of the beauties on here. She runs well, exterior is bone stock. Getting my hands on some b14 wheels soon and have been weighing my suspension options. I'll post up some photos when I get a chance. See ya around.

Thanks guys, glad I found this community.

I have a question for yous guys: My alt just fried last night, including a seized bearing and snapped belt. Fun stuff. My question is where do i source an oe alt for a W11 sr20det? Will a usdm sr20de alt bolt up or do I need to find a direct replacement? The one that failed looks ancient, marked 12v80A, LR180-725, 23100 64J00.

Thanks

Replaced the alternator today. Ended up using a remanned b13 with lifetime warranty. It took much longer thank it should have; the lower pivot bolt wasnt budging, so stupidly I removed the passenger mount and raised the engine. In hindsight next time I will just get a breaker bar or longer wrench so as to save myself the trouble. Luckily I was able to slide the passenger mount bolt back in with ease after swapping alts thanks to a couple extra jacks under the engine.

Other things on the plate: B14 p/s reservoir acquired to swap with my old 91 can. Saturday I'm heading to KC to pick up B14 wheels with goodyear tires in good condition. Coilovers will be ordered next week (BC's 6k/6k, suggestions anyone?), as well as a few chassis parts. Waiting on Greddy RS bov in the mail to replace my type s knock off that came on the car (functions btw, would just rather have name brand). Areomotive FPR and Z32 fuel filters due to arrive soon. Slowly but surely she takes shape.

Rehabbed my factory turbo assembly yesterday. Changed out all the gaskets and cleaned everything up properly. T25 was in great shape, no shaft play or dings in the compressor wheel.

Making progress on the car lately. Mounted a wideband and boost gauge on my steering column. Hooked up my mbc and have been thoroughly enjoying 10psi. The car started dumping fuel and fouled my o2 sensors and plugs. Flooded three cylinders and she wouldnt start. Pulled the rail and all four injector orings were chewed up so I put 4 brand new sets in yesterday and shes purring once again. Coolant overflow and a couple relays relocated as well as removal of the washer tank. I was wondering why the washer motor wasn't functioning until I got down there and saw the previous owner had cut both wires leading to it.

Hope the o-ring/fuel problem didn't do any damage to the motor
