New Guy from WI.
What's up everyone? New to the forum. I'm sure some of you guys has seen a few of my posts on here, but nothing too crazy. So, I've decided to keep my B14 and do a little bit of work on it. I've owned 2 B14's, 1 B13, but I'm sure most of you guys on here has gone through many. I've never really gotten too big into the SR world mechanically wise. So bare with me when it comes to asking questions. Now don't worry, this forum has been up for a while now, so I'm sure most of the information I need will be on here.

Luckily yesterday, I went to a local junkyard and scored myself a RR with only 51,000 on it! I couldn't believe how clean the motor was. No oil leaks, nothing. They had 2 sitting there for the same price, but one mileage was higher than the other. $367 w/tax isn't bad for a low mileage SR. Anyway, I was reading up on Vadim's RR thread he had posted a few years back and it seems like a pretty easy swap with the low-port intake manifold and my original water hard lines. I'm actually planning on throwing my Garrett T25 that I've gotten from Dre as well. Any advice on how to go about this? Remember, this is my first time ever turbo charging an SR. I know the basic things like getting the right ECU, clutch, wide band, etc. But is there anything special with the RR motors that I need to be aware of? Also, when it comes to running your own water and oil lines, would you prefer getting your own braided lines and re-routing them? More sturdy I would assume? Any guru advice would be great.

Here is what I'm rockin' right now as for the B14.

So here's the RR I snatched up from a local junk yard.

And the ugly oil pan.

RR Intake Manifold off. Anyone need one? Lol.

Well, thats all for now. I'll try to keep updating this thread with my build, but with a busy sched we shall see.

Yes, I'm asian. No Honda Here!
